Explanation / Answer
The behaviour of the invertebrate species was for the survivalof the species. If there are two species in a particular area thespecies which survives the conditions of that area ONLY willsurvive. The other species will go extinct. So in the expt,we see that the invertebrate species movedfroma a dry area to a humid area. We can see the survival instincts of this species. If it doesnot move to a humid area it will die and finally go extinct. In order to protect the future of the species the animals movetowards the humid area thus increasing their chances ofsurvival. Likewise, in their natural environment ,if the species doesnot learn to adapt wisely it will die.So this instinct helps itsurvive in the environment.Related Questions
