I will take example of Amazon which is global and known to everyone.

1)First we have to login to website and choose the product we want to buy.

2)After wards select the delivery adderess and go for mode of payment , it may be debit/credit card, net banking, cash on delivery, e wallet.

3)After you select your prefered mode and made payment it will be shown in the order tab where you can see the status of the orders

4)You can track the shipment status and expected time to reach the product.

5)Once it is delivered , the status chages to past purchase items tab and order is closed.

6)If you want to refund the product same can be done within specific time period based on seller policies.

The process is simple and effective and it is easy for who is not tech savy aswell.

Other improvememtns can be 1one day shipment if customer pays extra money should be delivered with in 12 hrs.
