Air and Climate Issues in healthcare sustainability:

The relation between environmental issues to health risks very is complex. Air and Climate Issues impairs health, while health deficits can amplify environmental mismanagement. This creates greater inequalities in both health endangering exposures. For example, India's average life expectancy is relatively low due to environmental issues.

Industrialisation eads to rapid increase of coal burning in India, and it results in global emissions and climate change. This amplifies health risks worldwide. The health risks due to environmental issues will surey affect the world's vulnerable populations.

These risks ave far reaching implications for immediate prevention strategies. Environmental change results in loss of natural resources. Resolution of these risks requires a different approach from old challenges presented by time limited environmental contamination.

Climate change and health has become an acknowledged reality. To recognise the resultant health risks, current and future, long time has been taken!

Risks to health will arise due to air and climate issues. It will reflect changes in both climate conditions and climatic variability.

The main risks to people due to air and climate issues are listed below:

Effects of heat waves such as cyclones, storms, foods and wildfires

Infectious disease

Issues on food yields

Problems on freshwater supplies

Worst functioning of ecosystems like wetlands as water filters

Displacement of vulnerable populations
