You diligently collect information which includes the following: You found that the company has not been reporting to the National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) database for NO_2, SO_2, and PM_2.5 You noted several complaints on odour from nearby neighbors. You found a license that the company has the authorization to discharge high organic loaded wastewater into a nearby stream, but note the license seems to have expired. You also found an old ash landfill at the back of the property, that staff has been using it for their own personal dump. If there are complaints about noise or odour, should we be concerned, after all this does not affect health? Identify four (4) environmental parameters related to your new job Identify the related issues of concern to the environmental parameters Identify mitigation measures than can (or may) be taken relating to these issues

d.Identify mitigation measures that can (or may) be taken relating to these issues (2)

ENVIRONMENTAL PARAMETERS

ISSUES OF CONCERN

POSSIBLE MITIGATION

NOISE

Noise damages ear drum

It disturbs sound sleep

People start behaving strangely

Measure the levels of noise

Inform industry take suitable action

Tell owner how to mitigate it

These gases released by Industry/vehicles in cities very dangerous to health

It will effect lungs creates breathing problem

Measure the level these contaminations
