The general suitability criteria are as follows: Properties for possible residential development should come from those currently classified by the County as either agricultural or vacant residential in use. Potential development should be in areas that are within a mile of the Medina County Sanitary Engineer's water distribution pipelines so that new water infrastructure costs are minimized and urban sprawl is limited Areas that are within 2 miles of an Interstate highway interchange (with exits and entrances to local roads or more useful that those between 2 and 4 miles from such interchanges, and those between 4 and 6 miles are still more suitable than areas more than 6 miles from such accessibility to Cleveland, Akron, and other employment and activity hubs. Access to (distance from) commercial and business areas is also important. Within 1 miles is ideal, 2 miles is also good, and 3 miles is required, as most people don't want to drive long distances for groceries and other retail and everyday business needs. B. For the needs of the New Horizons Homes (NHH) request MCRDO wants to find properties (entirely within the most suitable areas according to the plan it will develop) that meet the area requirements for the prospective development, which is at least 200 acres.Explanation / Answer

3- properties related to business and commercial (shape file)
4- properties related to agricultural land and vacant region
right click on layer open attibute table input the information and manually.
then digitize the vacant region that is suitable for landuse planing.
mark the entrace and exit point in digitized field.
then save edits
