Explanation / Answer

Zombie theories of Dr. Shephard are those theoreis related to climate change which sceintists have disapproved on several times but they still keep coming like zombies time and again in blogs, radio broadcasts and has plagued the discussions on climate change

We know that since the industrial revolution about 200 years ago we are burning fossil fuels like coals, oils, natural gas etc. By burning this fuels we are releasing C02 into the atmosphere. SInce 1880, scientists are claiming that we have increased C02 in the atmosphere by 40%. Since C02 is a green house gas which traps the earth's heat.

The precise measurement of the global temperature from 1884 to 2013 have shownn to increase over each decade and from the graph we can see that the 4th annual highest temperature was recorded in 2003. 2013 was the warmest year on the record followed by 2005 and then 1998 which was warmer than 2013.

SInce the scientists are claiming that the climate change is mainly caused by human acitvities but this is not confimed whether this is natural or due to human activities.

this misconception is important for keeping the people appreciating the impacts of climate change. Climate change results in increasing temperature, changes in prepitation, increases in sea level. Climate change has an affect on physical, mental, health of an individual because it will the food we eat, the water we drink and air in which we breathe. A warmer climate will make us vulnerable to the risk of exposure to heat and can prove to be fatal in some cases. While increase in flood, drought, storms will threaten human health and society. Some people like old, pregnant women, children, people with low income are more prone to be affected to by the climate change. The climate change will make us expose to various kinds of diesases. The severity of these risks will depend upon on aur preparedeness and ability to cope with them.

SInce the most problem associated with climate change is global warming. The warmer temperature implies that now the days are hotter and are of more frequent and longer heat waves. Exposure to extreme heat will make us vulnerable to various diseases like dehydration, heat stroke, respiratory, cardiovascular and cerebovascular diseases and in some cases proved to be fatal. Certain type of population like the people living indoors and the people living in northern latitudesand also children, preganant women and old people are less likely to cope up with an increase exposure of heat. Whereas warmer temperature and changing weather patterns can affect the quality of air and can lead to diseases like asthma attacks, cardiovascular and other respiratory diseases. Wild fires also inreases due to change in climatic conditions which create smog and other unhealhy air pollutents and especially for those people who are airborne allergens.

Increase in climate change will increase in concentration of ozone. peole exposing to high level of ozone ae expected to die prematurely. It can alos lead to damage lung tissue and aggravate the problem of asthma attacks in children, older people and people living indoors.
