Question

Of the two sources of energy that power Earth, the Sun is the main driver of the planet's external processes. If the Sun increased its energy output by 10%, what would happen to global temperatures? What effect would this temperature change have on the percentage of water that exists as ice? What would be the impact on the position of the ocean shoreline? Speculate as to whether the change in temperature would produce an increase or a decrease in the amount of surface vegetation? How would the change in the amount of surface vegetation affect global temperature?

Explanation / Answer

Drastically global temperatures increases, because insolation increases.
And sun seems to be more bright than today this means increase heat energy.
This effects green house increases, and atmosphere becomes like venus hellish environment.
Almost 90% ice sheets melted of entire world.
This would be the impact on the position of ocean shoreline,in the form of erosion and most of the coasts disappear.
Vegetation also drastiaclly decreases on earth surface. This again leads to increases green house gases and global warming.
