Question

*This is my second time posting this question, please don't answer this with open-ended ideas that cannot soldily answer the question* Thank you in advance!

The average life span in the United States is about 70 years. Does this mean that it is impossible for an average person to travel a distance greater than 70 light years away from the Earth? (A light year is the distance that light travels in a year.) This is not a yes or no answer. Explain your reasoning.

Please help me explain this clearly using the time dilation equation. Please be thorough and simple about it, I am struggling with this pretty badly!

Explanation / Answer

the average lifespan does not necessarily mean that a particular person cannot live more than 70 years in USA. so if that particular person lives longer he/she can travel further than 70 light years.
