Question

Fill in the blanks:

a) ------------------, ------------------, and ------------------ methods can be used to read the output voltage of a mass flow rate meter using a Raspberry Pi.

b) Consider the instrumentation amplifier shown below:

The amplifier gain can be adjusted by varying ------------------ and its common-mode voltage can be rejected by varying ------------------.

c) Consider the following sinusoidal signal being sampled by a DAQ system.

The sampling frequency for the samples shown in the graph is ------------------.

The lower limit for sampling frequency so that the original signal is still recoverable from the samples is ------------------

R4 R1 R3 Inputs R2 Output R1

Explanation / Answer

A. By using Arduino board,By using ADC, INA 219(Bidirectional Current/Power Monitor With I 2C Interface).

B. R2,R4.

C. For the q. no C the unit of x-axis is not known. I am providing formula to calculate it is very easy.

first off all have a look at graph, the time period of the sinusoidal wave is 6 time unit means the frequency will be (1/6 time unit)Hz. now see here 8 samples are taken in on cycle. so the frequeny will be frequency of sine wave multiplied by 8. another way is.... look the time interval between two samples simply do 1 devided by this time interval. both methods give same answer.

now take an example is the time unit is mili-second what will be the answer. 1/6*10-3=166.6 Hz.

so sampling frequency will 8*166.6=1333.33 Hz.

minimum sampling frequency will 2fm

by above eaxample 2*166.6= 333.3 Hz.

so i hope you will calculate by puting the actual time unit.

thank you.
