                                                              F = E*q

given,

          electric force, F = 3*10^{-6} N and q = -2.0*10{-9} C

     a)           electric field , E = F/q = - 1.5*10^{3} N/C

   magnitude of electric field is 1.5*10{3} N/C

     b)       charge of a proton, q = 1.6*10{-19} C

                electric force on proton due to field E ( in (a) ) is

                                                                               F = E*q

                                                                                  = -1.5*10{3}*1.6*10{-19} = - 2.4*10^{-16} N

               the direction of electric force on proton is same/parallel to the direction of electric field
