A recent  technological development that will have large scale impact environmental , health & economic is , the widespread adoption of solar/wind energy production.

, The widespread adoption of solar/wind energy production will have most significant impact on environmental. As the usage solar/wind energy production will increase then the dependency on non-renewable resources like coal, radioactive nuclear materials for generating electricity will decrease significantly. While using non renewable resources lots of harmful gases and radiactive elements are released which is damaging the environment. Since , the solar/wind energy production are renewable resources they do not release harmful gases or radiation thus helps in keeping the environment clean. And also unlike non-renewable resources it does not produces CO2 gas and heat which will prevent environment from global warming also.
