a) P1 = P3

P2 = 0.140g + 0.140g = 2.74 N ..........Ans

on upper ball ,

Ncos45 =0.140g

N = 1.94 N

Nsin45 = P1

P! = 1.94sin45 = 1.37 N

P3 = P1 = 1.37 N






b) N = 1.94 N as calculated above
