There is a great deal of emphasis on the right to free speech, but very little is ever said about the consequences... you have the right to yell "fire", but you must accept that doing so may put others in peril, and so you can be fined or imprisoned as a result. We never focus on that, though, because we get caught up in making sure OUR points get out, even if it means shouting down others, deleting their rhetoric, or even having them banned from areas where their views can be heard. In the free market of ideas, however, it can't be "all about me", or we lose out on the greatness that can come from sharing philosophies, new innovations, and experiences. Consider an area of communication/speech that you find controversial, and think about how it should be limited, or how it should be protected

Hi,

We very often listen to speeches in which leaders would mention that differently abled person cannot do anything in their life and hence we need to support them economically. But this statement is controversial because the differently abled people have proved that they can also achieve their dreams and they can do whatever a normal person can do in sectors like education, research, sports etc.
So, I feel rather then just suporting differently abled people financially, we need to provide then opportunities to learn new things, explore the world and do something creative. At the same time, they need our love and attention.
They have every right to contribute to their nation glory and to participate in nation duty and can contribute to their nation's services.

We can protect such speeches by educating the leaders about the skills and power of differently abled people. We can also present some facts about the achievements of the differently abled people.
