Number of people born = 1.54 billion

Number of people died in one year = 0.595 billion people died.

Population growth in a year = (number of people born – of persons that died) = 0.945 billion people increase in the population in the first year = (N)

Percentage increase = population growth rate = (increase / original population)*100 = (0.945*100/3.5) = 27%

After one year population will be 27% of 3.5 = (0.945+3.5) = 4.445billion

After two years the population will be (27% of 4.445) + 4.445 = 5.645billion

After two years the population will be (27% of 5.645) + 5.645 = 7.169 billion
