Let the resultant force on the lighter mass = F

g = 9.8 m/s²

48.5 x 9.8 x 0.160 - 0.120 x 9.8 x (3.0 - 0.160) = F(3.0 - 0.160)

F = mv²/r

v = (Fr / m)

v = (25.60 x (3.0 - 0.160) / 0.120)

v = 24.6 m/s
