The compound was found in two steps :
1. the structure of the compound was drawn on ChemDraw software to find out the IUPAC name.
2. the IUPAC name was searched on the PubChem site which is the open chemistry database.
The IUPAC name of the compound is 3-methyl-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-5(4H)-one
The trade name of the compound is Edaravone
The compound is free radical scavanger. It acts as anti-oxidant and anti-apoptotic agent.
