let the potential along bottom line is 0

hence potential along top line will be 9 v

hence

current through 30 resistor = I = V/R = 9/30 = 0.3 A


voltage across 18.6 resistor is 9-5 = 4

hence

current through 18.6 resistor = I = V/R = 4/18.6 = 0.22 A


current through 9 V battery = 0.3 + 0.22 = 0.52 A
