Ans- the electrolytes needs changes in our body when we store excess of water in our body or secrete excess of water from body like in sweating or loose motion etc.

Hyperkalemia term is used for the potassium excess in body.

Hypokalemia- used for low potassium levels.

Hypernatremia- used for high sodium levels.

Hyponatremia- used for low sodium levels.

Hypermagnesmia- used for high magnesium

Hypomagnesia- used for low magnesium.

The drink which can be used by athletes and non athletes are coconut, lemon water and juices of fresh fruits and vegetables.

The drink with electrolytes are recomended in summers or when the electrolytes loss is high.
