Question

3. Review the results from Table A and B

a. Describe the changes that occur in the heart rate between the different conditions in table A using your Mean calculations

b. what changes occur in the P-p (mv) measurements between the supine and after exercise conditions in table B?

c. How do your measurements compare to the normal measurements in the bottom row of Table B?

d. Consider what the P-p measurements represent. State a plausible hypothesis describing how heart rate and P-p (mv) measurements might relate to physical activity.

I want as a short answer.

Explanation / Answer

3a. According to the table A when a person is in deep sleep/unconscience the heart rate decreases but after waking up when heshe is in sitting condition the mean heart rate increases. It decreases with deep inhale and then again increases with deep exhale. The first 30s exercise increases the heart rate but decreases in the last 30sec.

b. The P_p(mv) keeps fluctuating.

c. Measurement of the wave amplitude of the cardiac cycle varies from person to person according to the condition of the heart of a person and his/her constitution.

d. The P-p represents the diastole and systole of the heart. With activity the systole increases.
