A. Intergranular
Because the dumbbell-shaped tongue piercing that has a titanium shaft and stainless steel is not required to use in too much corrosive environment. But due to two material used in one component there a corrosion occurs of type intergranular because of connection between them.
B. Pitting
Load bearing steel support on a suspension bridge over a San Francisco bay is always under the variable loading condition and due to suspension bridge this support is facing the pitting on it so there a pitting type corrosion occurs on this material.
C. Erosion
The strength of the gold is not that much higher so in the brain stimulation wire made of completely gold corroded by the erosion.
D. Galvanic
In boat propeller steel is used which is always in contact with the water particles so in the shot pinned steel we also galvanised it to prevent corrosion. So in this when galvanised is removed corrosion occurs.
E. Stress
In the underground tank we use it for storage of high-pressure gas or other products. So two pieces of metal joined by bolt which are under the condition of stress due to high pressure so that stree type corrosion occurs in this.
