According to chegg guidelines , I am answering the first question only.
Pros-
1-The PWM sine wave inverters are more accurate and provide clean output.
2- They are not noisy as the square wave inverters are very noisy. ie. HARMoNIC content is low in PWM inverter.
3- They can be adjusted to get any desired value using the duty cycle.
4- Input power factor is very good in PWM inverter in comparison to square wave inverter.
5- Sine wave is better than square waves for motor loads and hence PWM inverter is preferred over square wave inverter.
Cons-
1- PWM inverter are costlier than square wave inverter.
2- Electromagnetic interference occurs because the current rises and falls in PWM inverters.
3- The initial voltage is higher than the input voltage which needs to be fixed by varying duty cycle.
