You are selected to assess different temperature sensors. Your requirements are to guide your institute to the proper sensor type. Include your justification of the selected model. The temperature sensor that required is not expensive and not complicated (simple for the maintenance department), it is used for biomedical application and it must be safe and accurate with less sensitivity. Provide 3 product from the internet that you suggest to go with. You can use the table on slide 27 from CH2-1 and Ch2-2 lecture slides to make the decision.

FOr bimedical applicaitons there are four basic categories of sensors - Sensors that are implanted externally on a patient/subject, sensors that are inserted with the help ofa catheter, sensors that are inserted and implanted inside the body (i.e., those which are exposed to the bodily fluids).

For specific products available through a product search, typically Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and Thermistors are used for medical applications. Afew examples are SMD0805 RTD sensors, QT0805 NTC, STSC1 by Sensirion, and the like.
