1) The condition which produces extremely high vibrations are called Resonance.

    Resonance means the vibration of one body would match to the vibration of the source body, this condition creates the extreme high vibrations.

2) "Damper " is the best vibration absorber.

3)    Just add a damper in between mass and the spring.

4) Frequency would be the physical condition to satisfy that case.

5) Yes, I would still recommend to use the vibration absorber to control dynamics of the system. Because in case of any extreme vibrations it would again absorb the high vibrations .
