Guys this is what I did, and what other people also got, but my hoemwork engine won't let me put through and keep on telling me that it's wrong..... I only have 2attempts to submit the answers.. can you please verify where I'm(we're) doing wrong?

I = 120/(385-668 j)
I = 120/(772/_ -60.04)
I = .156/_60.04
P = VxI*
P = 120*.156/_-60.04
P = 18.72*cos-60.04 + 18.72*sin-60.04
P = 9.3486 - 16.218 W
average power supplied ==> active power
Psupplied = Pdissipated = 9.3486 W

hey try using the following formulas, and let me know it worked out or not..

average power = Vm Im cos/2

                          = (Vm/2)(Im/2)cos

                          = VI cos

this can also be written as P = I^2 *Z cos
