f = 5 x 10^6 Hz ; v = 1540 m/s
a)We know that,
v = f lambda
lambda = v/f
lambda = 1540/(5 x 10^6) = 3.08 x 10^-4 m
Hence, lambda = 3.08 x 10^-4 m
b)t = 9.5 x 10^-6 s
we know that,
v = d/t => d = vt
but since its a echo, distance travelled by the wave is double
d = vt/2 = 1540 x 9.5 x 10^-6/2 = 7.32 x 10^-3 m
Hence, d = 7.32 x 10^-3 m
