Question

b. True or False- There is a spot where the net electric field is zero

c. True or False - You can determine the charges of points 1 and 2 from this picture alone

I am pretty sure I know the answer to this question, however, I just wanted to confirm that I am thinking about it correctly. I know that more field lines means higher magnitude, however, I didn't know if there was more to it than that. I also assumed that there is always a spot where the net electric field would be zero (however, I am not sure how to calculate it mathematically so I wanted to make sure)

Explanation / Answer

a.q1 is stronger because it has more field lines b. no there isn't a spot where the net electric field is 0 because they don't seem to have the same charges. remember it points toward the negative and away from the positive so it gets stronger because the two vectors are always in the same direction c. I don't know how you gonna determine the charges from the lines I don't even think it's possible because imagine if they had to count lines for a 300 coulombs point charge
