b. No. Injecting IgG from UP does not cause any allotypic reaction in DOWN since the same allele present in UP is present in DOWN also. However, if the opposite happens, that is, if the antibodies from DOWN are injected to UP, reaction may occur since the gamma3b allele is not present in UP.a
