What types of conditions play a role in emerging viruses and what can we do to prevent them from causing too many problems? It was once stated that "the death of the host is a result as harmful to the virus's future as to that of the host itself". Explain the significance of this statement. Because prions such as those that cause kuru and scrapie take many years to cause disease, how do we know they even exist? What evidence supports their existence? Explanation / Answer

Viruses are considered to be a intermediate form of life as they resemble characters with both living and non living.they may be considered living as they have nucleic acid ,show division ,have biological structures ,on the contray they can considered non living as no individual survival ,they lack enzymes for multiplication ,they can be crystaliised .

Emerging viruses are the viruses that are starting to be known as the dday passes by ,for example HIV

The most probable reason for it may be the mixing of societies ,trade, cultures and items .as a result of which the virus gets entry into a society that has no resistance to it.

The possible ways to stop it is restricted mixing of culture ,for example in the recent outbreak of zika virus all the pregnant women were not allowed to move to the high risk area.

Virus cannot survive without host ,Therefore if host dies both will suffer.

Viruses cannot be cultured ,but definately the pathological changes seen with them can be demonstrated .prions cause a spongiform change
