Hemoglobin is a protein that transports oxygen from lungs to the tissues.Binding of oxygen to one subunit of the protein enhances binding of other oxygen molecules to tetrameric hemoglobin.

When pH drops from 7.4 to 7.2, the Hydrogen ion concentration would increase and some sites on hemoglobin would get protonated , like Histidine. This decreases affinity of hemoglobin for oxygen via stabilization of deoxyhemogobin since salt bridges can be formed between protonated Histidine and Aspartate residues.The shift of the curve would be towards right, that is B to C indicating decrease in hemoglobin's oxygen saturation.

As blood CO2 increases, oxygen affinity of hemglobin will decrease and the curve would shift from B to C,i.e towards right to release oxygen to the tissues.

High concentration of 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate along with acclimizing to high altitude would shift the curve to right i.e from A to B, so that more oxygen is released to the tissues. 2,3-bisphosphoglycerate affects oxygen binding to hemoglobin via allosteric modulation.

Dissociation of tetrameric hemoglobin would also make the curve shift towards right, since more oxygen would be released from hemoglobin based on dissociation of oxygen to one subunit of hemoglobin enhances dissociation of a second oxygen from another subunit of hemoglobin.
