An example of such reaction is Kreb’s cycle. These electrons now enter the mitochondrial membrane. Here many intra-membrane proteins are situated. These electrons enter these proteins sequentially and generate proton motive force. This force is used to produce ATP in ATP synthase enzyme. Example of these proteins are ubiquitinase complex.
