For a given lens (converging lens), a light shone upon an object. The light then passes through the lens and onto a screen. Everything is in a linear configuration. The screen is moved closer and farther from the lens, and it is found that at two particular locations of the screen (when the placement of the screen is moved back and forth and played with), the image comes into focus at two different points? Why are there two different locations where you can place the screen and the image will be in focus?
