Explanation / Answer

A) the type of mutation is SUBSTITUTION in thich nucleotide C is replaced by T. YES, There will be effect on the poly peptide sequence as the codon in which this substitution took place was UGG to UGA in RNA and UGA is a stop codon so the transcription would stop right here.

B) this mutation is also substitution of G with A. change in codon would be from GGC to GGT (in RNA) and both of the codon code for glycine so there would be no effect on polypeptide sequence.

C) this type of mutation is insertion where A is inserted b/w C and T. this would induce a frame shift that result in formation of codon TAA instead of normal AAG. TAA is stop codon so again the transcription would stop here only.
