Speculate on what our solar system would be like if Jupiter did have a mass of 0

Question

Speculate on what our solar system would be like if Jupiter did have a mass of 0.08 the mass of the Sun. Obvious changes would be an additional heat source and a complicated impact to our current concept of day and night. Another change would be the additional gravitational force of Jupiter on the rest of the solar system objects. Do you think life would be possible on Earth? If so would there be any issues with the conditions on Earth? If not why? If you're nervy enough you even have enough physics and the information you need to calculate the increase in energy received by the Earth from a stellar Jupiter. Note the distance and the mass luminosity relationship. You can also easily make a statement about the increase in gravitational effect. I know a bit about the different binary stars but I find out very confusing. Thank you in advance!

Explanation / Answer

life on earth wouldnt be possible, as the gravity effects the ability of earth to hold the atmosphere around it. if the jupiter is 0.8 times the sun, then, the earths temperaturewould also be very high, which makes living impossible.
