Cerebrum or cortex is the largest part of human brain present in forebrain and associated with heigher brain function such as thought and action.
Cerebral cortex divided into four sections called lobe
Frontal lobe : associated with reasoning, planning , emotions and problem solving
Parietal lobe : associated with movement, orientation and recognintion
Occipital lobe : associated with visual processing
Temporal lobe : associated with perception and recognition of auditary stimuli, memory and speech.
In reading, temporal lobe, broca area and angular and supramarginal gyrus are the brain parts that involved. Temporal lobe provide phonological awareness, for decodig and discriminating sound, broca area in frontal lobe govern speech production and language comprehension. Angular ans supramarginal gyrus link different parts of brain so that letter shapes can be put together to form words. Parietal lobe also help in reading
Amygdala is almond shaped part of brain that control aggression and fear means it deals with anxiety. So anxiousness before test feeling control by amygdala.
Broca area of the brain help in completing the homework
Prefrontal cortex involve in problem solving so it help in taking a test along with hippocampus that has memory of what you learnt before.
Frontal lobe function in discussing life with friend because it involve planning , reasoning , emotions etc. Lateral orbitofrontal responsible for social and emotional behaviour.
