The tal of vector 2 should be touching the tip of vector 1 Next, add vector 3 to vector 2. To find the sum of the three vectors, draw a line from the tail of vector 1to the tip of vector 3. Explanation / Answer

First of all Taeke Vector 1 and 2 and reverse vector 2 so that the tail of Vector 1 touches the head of Vector 2. Draw a parallelogram out of the two vectors and take the length of the diagonal which is the resultant of both the vectors, i.e. vector 1 and vector 2. You may measure the angle also. Now do the same thing with the resultant of vector 1 and 2 and Vector 3. Find out the length of the diagonal and calculate the angle of the diagonal. You will get the resultant of the three vectors namely, vector 1, vector 2 and vector 3.

You need to take correct scale and use dotted lines for the orthogonal axes.
