Question

An object 10 kg is moved up at a uniform velocity on a frictionless ramp what is the force?

Name Homework 2 of SCI 123 10 points each, 20 points, due on Friday 28, 2018, Friday . An object of 10 kg ia moved up at a uniform velocity on a frictioniess ramp. What is the force? (Hint sin8 0.6) 5m 3m 2. A force of 15 Newton moves an object of 5 kg with an initial velocity of 10 m/s by 20 m on a frictionless flat surface. Please figure out its velocity by using the principle of energy conservation. F15N F 15N d 20m 3 Please use the principle of energy cons ervation to calculate the velocity of a bail after freely falling 90 m? MSU Oingthou Xu

Explanation / Answer

In order to have uniform velocity, ie e net acceleration on the object is suppoesuto be zero, hence the net upward force is just sufficient to balance mg sin x

F= mg sin x= 10*9.8* (3/5)= 58.8 N
