Conservation of a quantity means its total value remains same before and after an event of a system
When conservation of energy occurs, there may be more than one forms of energy. But momentum is only one type.

Internal force will provide same impulse to both bodies and hence change the momentum equal and opposite. External whereas cannot.

Frictional forces change the data often.

4)

Elastic collisions do not spend energy in restitution. Hence, momentum and energy both conserved. Inelastic collisions spend some energy in restitution which cannot be regained. Hence, only momentum conserved.

5)

It means final energy is less. Means energy is lost by the system.
