In this case, it is very necessary to measure the cholesterol levels of participants of two groups, experimental and control prior to starting the study as it will result in confounding variable because if we do not do that then the result we will get after the study will not be actual or real.

Since we can see from the graph, The purple bar in the control group and experimental group are not same i.e. cholesterol level value of purple bar in control group and experimental group are 4.8 and 5.0 are not same that can result in the false conclusions after the study.

the same thing is with the yellow bars.the two cholesterol value of yellow bar in control graph and experimental graph are not same. So they can result in false conclusions after the study also.

So it is very necessary to measure the cholesterol levels of the participant's groups before starting the study.
