Question

Find Vo? I am stuck and not really sure how to solve thisproblem.
So far all I did was find ix: I=V/R 20V/5ohms = 4ohms
So my textbook shows that the easiest way would be to removethe dependent source but does not show how to do so, therefore I amstuck.
But if I leave the dependent source then I can assume that 2ohms goes through the source and through the 10 ohm resistor whichmeans that the Voltage at the 10ohm resistor would be 20 and thatalso means that Vo would be 20 ohms as well.
This is my thought process but I am terrible in thischapter.
If anyone can tell/show me what to do next and provide withthe right method to get the answer then I will awardlifesaver.
