This is what I have done. I dont know if it is right or wrong. All I know is that I didnt finish it. V1 - V3 = 6Vx V3 = 3V Vx = V2 -40 mA + V2 / 600 + V2 / 300 - V3 / 300 = 0 600 [V2 (1 / 600 + 1 / 300)] = 40 mA + V3 / 300Ohm V2 (1 + 2) 3V2 = 0.04 A + 3V / 300Ohm 3V2 = 0.04A + 0.01A 3V2 = 0.05A

Explanation / Answer

from the circuti, V3= 3 volts

v1 and v3 forms a supernode

supernode equation becomes:

v1-v3=6*Vx  

kcl at supernode :( v1-v3)/300 + v3/100+ (v3-v2)/300 +40*10^-3=0

kcl at node 2:(v2-v3)/300+v2/600 -40*10^-3=0

solving the third equation:

v2/200-(.01)=40*10^-3

v2/200=0.05

v2=200*0.05= 10Volts

vx=-0.047 volts

v1=6vx+3= 2.72 volts
