The system is shown in Figure Q6 (a).



a) Find the phase voltages Ea,Eb,Ec and load impedances at each phase Za,Zb,Zc (=Z)


b) Also calculate the active and reactive power dissipated in each impedance Za,Zb,Zc (=Z)



c) Two Watt meters are now connected between the lines of the three phase system as shown in Figure Q6 (b).


Find the readings of the two Watt meters.



d) Use your results in (b) and (c) above to prove/verify "Two Watt Meter Method" for


three phase power measurements
