1. Valence electrons are the electrons found in an atom's outer electron shell. One atom of carbon has four valence electrons. To know how many valence electrons are present in an element, look at the periodic table and find for the element's group. Carbon is in group four, so it has a valence of 4.
2. Non-polar covalent bond is formed when the electronegativity difference is very small. If the electronegativity difference is between 0.0-0.2, then the bond will be non-polar covalent. If the electronegativity difference is between 0.3-1.4, then the polar covalent bonds are formed. If the gap is greater than 1.5, the ionic bonds will be formed.
3. Water has high heat of vaporization. Water is in liquid form has an unusally high boiling point temperature, a value close to 100 degree celsius. As a result, the network of hydrogen bonding present between water molecules , a high input of energy is required to transform one gram of liquid water into vapor, an energy requirement called heat of vaporization.
4. The nucleotides in the nucleic acid has nitrogeneous bases which has nitrogen in it. The amino acids contains amine group (NH2). So both amino acid and nucleic acid contains nitrogen.
5. The prokaryotic cells are the basic type of cell which does not have any membrane bound organelle and nucleus. So, they lack golgi apparatus.
