I have constructed a balanced modulator circuit to create double sideband suppressed carrier (DSB/SC) AW signal (see Lecture 4 slide 24) I applied the following signals m(t) = 20 pi cos(2100 pi t) vots c(t) = 15cos(118000 pi t) vote When I lest the output of the circuit I see that the resulting signal is actually conventional AM What have I done wrong in my circuit design? Added instead of subtracted at the circuit output. Accidentally switched the m(t) and c(t) inputs. Forgotten to add the inverter amplifier on one arm of the modulator circuit Could have been any of (a) to (c) None of the above.
