Explanation / Answer

Ques-1. What are the functions of the circulatory systems of animals?

The circulatory system is containing blood that is useful to transport oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin to various tissue s& cells as a result oxygen is delivered to the cells to carry out cellular respiration followed by expulsion of CO2 from cells into the circulatory system. This circulatory system is going to transport deoxygenated blood to lungs to purify blood.

Ques-19: What is blood?

Blood is the fluid connective tissue useful to carry out various physiological functions such as carrying oxygen & CO2 from tissues

Ques-23: What are platelets?

Answer: Platelets are also known as thrombocytes useful to carry out blood clotting mechanism at the site of wounds and injury
