1/nf = sin r/(sin i

fron TIR,

Sin C = 1/nf     as B = 90 deg

so r = 90 -c

so Sin c = sin (90-c)/sin 37

tan c = 1.6616

thus C = 59 deg


so nf = 1/sin c

nf = 1/sin 59

nf = 1.16 is the refractince index
