Only need help with Part B.
Problem 20.16 Part A Points A and B have electric potentials of 350 V and 200 V, respectively. When an electron released from rest at point A arrives at point C, its kinetic energy is KA When the electron is released from rest at point B, however, its kinetic energy when it reaches point C What is the electric potential at point C? = 500 V Submit My Answers Give Up Correct Part B What is the kinetic energy KA? eV A= Submit My Answers Give Up Incorrect; Try Again; 4 attempts remainingExplanation / Answer
(B) Solution:
The gains in Kinetic Energy is proportinal tot he potential energy difference.
i.e. Ka = [Vc - Va]. q , where q =e = 1.6 x 10^-19 C
Ka = [500 - 350] . 1.6 x 10^-19 = 240x10^-19 J.
