using horizontally conservation of momentum

3 m vo = 2 m v2 cos2 + m v1 cos1

3 vo = 2 v2 cos2 + v1 cos1   

3 vo = 2 v2 cos27+ v1 cos42

3 vo = 2 v2 0.891+ v1 0.743

3 vo = 1.782 v2 + 0.743 v1 ------- 1

2 mv2 sin2 = m v1 sin1

2 v2 sin27= v1 sin42

v2 = 0.736 v1 ------- 2

using equations 1 and 2

3 vo = 1.782 v2 + 0.743 v1
