a] Density of gold = 19.32 g/cm^3 = 19320 kg.m^3

Density of copper = 8.95 g/cm^3 = 8950 kg/m^3

Mass of coin = 7.988 g

The mass of gold = 22/24*7.988 g = 7.3223 g = 0.0073223 kg

b] The mass of copper = 7.988 - 7.3223 g = 0.6657 g = 0.0006657 kg

Volume of gold = mass / density = 7.3223 g / 19.32 g/cm^3

= 0.379 cm^3

Volume of copper = mass / density = 0.6657 g / 8.95 g/cm^3

= 0.0744 cm^3

c] Density = mass / volume = 7.988 / ( 0.379 + 0.0744 )

= 17.62 g/cm^3
