You have been approached by Mr. Calvin, a contractor with 25 years of experience in the building industry and a former engineering technologist at Taikin Industries Ltd. Singapore, with regards to the mentioned project. Mr. Calvin has offered a very competitive price for the work. However, Mr. Calvin is not a registered Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate. Explain whether you can engage Mr. Calvin to carry out the project mentioned above. The statement suggests that the building is already complete as far as construction is concerned, meaning that the design is not a concern here as its a completed task, what is left is "SERVICES SYSTEM" as it is known that services system actually influences the aesthetics of a building and has got very little to do with the dynamics and loads on the building, it will thus be a better idea to engage Mr. Calvin.
