My values for this question areradius of 4m and coefficient of static friction of .41. I amhaving trouble with part c which asks for the minimum period tokeep the person from sliding down. I have calculated thecorrect answer for the force of friction as 637N. From that Icalculated the normal force as 1533.66N. In the x direction Ihave the normal force = ma. I found the acceleration fromthere to be 23.9m/s^2. Then I used a=v^2/r to find thevelocity (9.778m/s). I then used that velocity in 2*pi*r/v tocome up with 2.57s. That answer is coming up wrong.
